This guy is charging $12 for this in the open billiards market group. Anyone ever heard of this? Any info?
 
Link doesn't work. But honestly, would you see this chalk as being any better than Blue Diamond, or Magic Chalk. I can't. And for twice as much.

I can't speak for Chris's new chalk. Haven't tried it out yet, but his is reasonably priced.

I got seriously jizzed on a chalk deal once. I will stick with the brands that I know work 100%.

Check Ali Baba. Chances are you may find it for sale on that site. Maybe even for 50 cents a cube, or less.

Here. I got bored after 6 pages of chalk.

My old Masters chalk does everything a fellow could expect out of a cube of chalk. I can get a box of 12 cubes for the price of that one cube.

What could be the reason for a 12 dollar retail price for one chalk cube?

Me neither. But then, if we would have gotten in on the TOI DVD Sales, we could have also sold 300,000 copies.
 
I don't know how it plays, but I collect chalk new and old and have a piece in my collection, it has the thickest wrapper I've ever seen in my life on a piece of chalk! LOL
 
The sheer audacity! What's next, charging $30 for a piece of chalk that you have to keep in a ziplock bag so it doesn't dry out?

You're right, you know. The difference here is that people are a little more willing to pay that ridiculous price for Kamui chalk because of the name associated with it.
 
$12 for a piece of chalk that would last me 6 months to a year so I don't see what the problem is.... If I like it. If I don't I'm out a whole $12. How much a day do you spend on table time? Tip tools? league fees? Custom cues? etc etc etc.

Maybe it would be the best chalk for your particular tip and stroke and you will never know it because it was $12.

And if I think its crap I would give it to my friend who I play against every day so that way he has the crap chalk. WIN WIN :)~

Well I still have 3 boxes of Blue Diamond and some Magic chalk to go thru. I think I will need more chalk in about 8 years. We can talk then. :D
