13mm Low Deflection Shaft

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I searched and couldn't find anything on it.

I have been experimenting with low deflection shafts, but all are 12.75mm or less. I have used a 13mm shaft for a while, and the 12.75 feels too small in my bridge. Is there a 13mm low deflection shaft, or what is the lowest deflection shaft that comes at 13mm? I checked Platinum Billiards, and the lowest deflection shaft that I know is 13mm is Meucci, which I hope not to have to try.

The Universal Smart Shaft Regular Squirt(RS) is 13mm. They call them RS but I think they're better than alot of shafts. One of the e-dealers had a chart on percent of deflection, I just can't seem to find it right now.

I have two of the USS RS models, I love them!

I've found that the 314s vary dramatically in tip diameter size. I have one that's about 12.9mm, which in my opinion may as well be 13 mm. You may want to try finding a used 314 that is slightly larger than advertised.

A dime shaped tip will give you less deflection (comes with Predator shafts) and when using a dime shaped tip, if you have a larger diameter shaft, there is not much "edge" to the tip. So you can not reshape the tip very many times before you would need to replace the tip.

I want to use a dime shaped tip and because of this, I would not want the diameter of my shaft to be more that about 12.5 or 12.75. Then I can get quite a few reshapings of my tip before I need to replace it.

??? I thought it was the weight of the first 7-8 inches of the shaft. How does the dime shape reduce deflection?

I'm not a rocket scientist, so perhaps someone else could explain the following?

You should try our Tiger "X" Laminated Shaft in 13mm.

Deflection wise, it is somewhere in between a 314 and a conventional shaft.

Lemme know.
 
I have an OB-1 shaft that is 13 mm and don't really notice a dramatic difference in deflection between that one and the other one I have which is about 12.6 mm.

I designed it just for players like you that want a great hit but lower squrit with a 13MM shaft.
