WoW.. Great stuff BlackJack! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm a 14.1 beginner and this is the stuff I'm looking for to improve my straight pool game.

Now about that book of yours..... :wink2:

Ditto the GREAT ADVISE, Blackjack!
Best stuff I have seen from anyone.
These are not only great practice drills but they also help me to address the very areas which I know I need to improve on to play better 14.1.
All straight forward, simple to follow and challenging at the same time.

Thanks Blackjack Dave! I commend you on your teachings. I like the way you use video demonstrating the drills.

Another nice set of 14.1 drills.

How many times have we had a bunch of balls open in a small area and ended up with the cue ball leaning on an object ball with no shot or ending up with a big cut and losing control of the cue ball?

This should help us concentrate on small and precise movement of the cue ball.

An interesting and challenging twist to the 3 x3 would be to add the following proscriptions:

> cue ball can not go to a cushion
> cue ball can not contact another object ball.
