Danny Harriman's 280 Ball Dvd A Scam!!!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO DANNY ON HIS HUGE 14.1 WIN AT THE DCC. THIS POST CONCERNS THE DVD OF THE 280 BALL RUN THAT MANY OF US HAVE ORDERED AND PAID FOR MANY WEEKS AGO BUT HAVE NOT AS YET RECEIVED. SEVERAL AZ MEMBERS SENT ME A PM REQUESTING ME TO ASK DANNY WHEN WE WOULD GET THE TAPES AS I SPENT THE WEEK AT THE DCC. I APPROACHED DANNY AND HE WAS POLITE AND EXPLAINED THAT WHILE HE HAD THE MASTER OF THE RUN, A PARTNER WAS TO DISTRIUBTE THE DVD'S AS THE PAYMENTS WERE RECEIVED AND DANNY WOULD SPLIT THE PROCEEDS 50/50. DANNY INDICATED HE WASN'T IN TOUCH WITH HIS "PARTNER" AND OFFERED NO SUGGESTION HE WOULD PROTECT HIS NAME BY DOING SOMETHING TO PROVIDE THE DVD'S TO HIS FANS WHO PAID IN RESPONSE TO THIS POST.
MY GOOD FRIEND SUGGESTS DANNY IS A GOOD GUY BUT LIKE MANY OF US, A LITTLE ODD. DANNY MENTIONED TO ME THAT HE HAD A 182 BALL RUN DVD WITH HIM WHICH I GLADLY PAID THE $30 AND WAS NOT CONCERNED THAT HE WOULD BRING TO MY SEAT AFTER HE RETURNED FROM HIS ROOM AND PAID HIM IN ADVANCE GLADLY.
I ADMIRE DANNY HARRIMAN'S TALENT AND THINK HE MIGHT RECONSIDER AND FIND SOMEONE TO DISTRIBUTE HIS PRODUCTS AS FUTURE SALES WILL BE DIFFICULT IF BUYERS MUST BE CONCERNED ABOUT RECEIVING ITEMS. WHILE THE MONEY IS MINIMAL, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE 280 BALL RUN BUT WILL DO NOTHING AND ASSUME DANNY WILL TRY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT FOR HIS FANS.
MY SUGGESTION IS TONOT ORDER THIS DVD UNLESS DANNY MAKES THINGS RIGHT; IF HE NEEDS SUGGESTIONS, I AM AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE THEM.

Thanks, PETARD, for speaking to the man himself. Not very encouraging though.
I ordered the DVD on January 2 through Paypal. I never received an acknowledgment other than a "payment made" notice from Paypal. I've sent three emails to the "customer service email" (charlesharriman18@yahoo.com) and one PM to Danny on this board inquiring about the order, and have not received any response. It appears that whoever is supposed to be sending the DVD's has stopped doing anything, even reading emails.
I opened a dispute through Paypal. That's all that can be done short of giving him bad publicity on this board, which I am now doing after reading PETARD's account.
Danny came on this board to sell his product. He should come on again to apologize to those who have paid for it and not received it. Partner troubles or not, it is his reputation.

John: It's very nice of you to step up and help Danny out like this. I spoke with him, too and he seems a little lost as to how to resolve it. Apparently some of the monies have been sent to the partner and I am not sure if Danny even has complete dvds at his disposal at this time. I intended to follow up with him but am glad you are doing it. You are probably well equipped to see this through.
This really sucks...I wish he had worked a deal with an established distributor. That's where the marketing power is anyway and he wouldn't have to worry about being screwed over by some person he thought he could trust. He could have made more money and not taken a risk with his name.
Danny is a good guy and means well. I hope it gets worked out. I know I received my DVD with no problem.

I noted from this post that some people were experiencing a shipping delay or problem. I ordered my copy five days ago via the web site and paid for the video using pay pal. Received my copy today and just finished watching for what will be the first of many times.
Personally feel the quality of the video is good, commentary is very candid and informative, there are golden nuggets of knowledge transfer contained throughout that I know will be of benefit to my game.
