For those of you who don't know, or even if you do, Amsterdam Billiards has a couple of s 14.1 leagues, Mon. nights and Sat. noons, of which I am the director.
The new season starts 1/18 and their are a few spots open for 8:30, Mon.
We have 54 entries divided into groups that play even up! This includes a dedicated Master Division that includes Steve Lipsky, Holdin Chin, Chris Lynch and other strong players.
Sat. sessions begin on the 23.
Don't get left out. This is a strong league for everyone.
(If Lipsky puts in another 25 I'll pledge 50.)

I wish I was closer!

I ned to get my straight pool chops back... No one out here in the woods of Long Island plays the game!

Because Steve already gave his other $25 to Haiti, if You go $50, I'll raise my donation from $25 to $50. Same net effect for the event. Waddaya say?

Danny Barouty is a 'Dynamite' person and a 'Wonderful' director. He happens to be both my good friend and a mentor of sorts. Meeting Danny and playing in his league has improved my fundamentals, overall playing skills, managed my emotions, and gave my ego a 'reality check'! Speaking from experience, it is a great league for Pros, Open, or handicap 'bum' players like me. Oh! and Danny Barouty has at least one or two straight pool 'clinics' a season for 'FREE'!!! If you miss any of the clinics, you could always watch Steve (Steve Lipsky) and Danny have their weekly Saturday match on the front table. You can learn volumes by watching these 2 master players. Well! just my .04 cents. I just think this info. is worth more than .02 cents.

I had the pleasure of playing in the 14.1 qualifier for the world Straight Pool Championships there run by Danny and got to hang out with both Danny and Steve for a little while and they were both great guys. Watching them play on an outer table was phenomenal and you can tell how intricate both of them really are on the table.

Even if Steve is the hometown here (Long Island WHAT WHAT !!!!) Lol lol

And i agree as well, both Danny and Stevie are both class acts and both shoot one hell of a game.

i am fortunate to have played in the same room as stevie for a number of years, i really learned alot from him unfortunatly i couldnt perform half the stuff that i saw him do. This was before stevie was a 14.1 god !!!

but i believe that i stored up all of that info and i am starting to use it all now in recent years.

Hey Cue Guru,

i here there is a new room opening up on rt 112 or something like that.

Would love to meet you there for a nice long 14.1 session !

i am all the way out in Bum F&%$ nassau county !

Steve

I hate to be the party pooper here but money is going to be tight for a bit. I also plan to give a bit to Haiti so unfortunately, I really need to keep the SBE donation to $25. Sorry, don't mean to be lame, just have to be a bit responsible for now...

Steve your donation of twenty five is more than generous and we greatly appreciate it. I think we have all been touched in some way by the recent events that have happened in Haiti.

Its great to see you are among those willing help.
