If player A runs 100 and out, player B should be given a ball in hand and attempt to run 100 and out not just practice racking & taking naps! if he fails then player A wins, if he made it, i'd have them play the match again! or maybe rotate every 50 points!
14/1 is the hardest pool game IMHO to master, harder than 3 Cushion Billiard that normally is played to 50 Point. A great Three C player can run 14 maybe.
As in 14/1 if you have a strong player who can break run, and continue to break , and run the "B" Player as you called the person may never get a shot.
Best 14/1 run I ever had was like 39 balls practicing and in a game like 18. Mosconi was the best at 14/1 or Straight Pool depend on what you want to call the game.
He was the one who said 14/1 was the toughest game in his book Willie's Game.
