154 Ball run.

Yes......tighter rack always equal better breaks whether playing 9/10 Ball or 14.1.

What are the dots and how are set and applied? My racks break like cement making runs quite challenging. I spent most of my shots simply trying to part the balls. This in turn relegates pattern recognition and development to nearly an after-thought.

Great run! Most of all.... a beautiful table..... That is the way a table is supposed to play! They sure did know how to make a table back then. Congrats.

Just started watching this interesting run. What was your thinking at 23:15? You blew my mind  when you shot the 8 ball in favor of the 10 high on the rack. Obviously you knew what you were doing because you got a great break (excellent recovery on the key ball, too).

Do you prefer break shots on the top two balls vs on the lower part of the pack where the 8 ball was?

OK, edited post because I just finished watching your run. Fantastic! Got another question for you on the last rack. At 1 hour 02 min you shoot the 11 in the upper corner and almost scratch. The 1 and 9 were tied up near the side pocket, but it looked like it would have been fairly routine to throw the 1 in the side if the cue ball were in the right spot. Could you have hit the 11, come down table for one of the striped balls near the foot spot, and then from that angle just throw the 1 into the side? It looks like it goes, but of course I can't really tell.

Thanks again for posting.

I've been favoring break balls that are just slightly above the front 2 balls lately.......takes out the scratch for sure. IDK, I've just been scratching a lot off the side of the pack lately.

The situation at the end of the run.......the 1 ball wouldn't go in the side.

Thanks.
