So Bonita (also the name of a fish) contacted Joss and Billy Stroud. That's
interesting. And who the heck is Hellmester? Did she mean Helmstetter?
This is obviously someone just dropping names. The cue looks interesting, but 18K. C'mon.
It is not that old (i.e. steel joint and pin) and it appears to be an old Titleist blank. Could be an early work by any one of several cuemakers. Maybe worth a thousand, if it could be authenticated.

i agree......i guess some people like to dream...

hmm.... it might be worth that much if the garage in the last picture is for sale with it...

Looks to me with that price they are just looking for someone to tell them what the cue is, not really to sell it......

Under Q & A it appears that the seller had been asking $50K for it. Thats outrageous!!!!!

I'll give him $18 with free shipping.

I rather have an $30 Muller house cue.

How can somone attach a massive price tag to a cue when the owner has no idea who made the cue?

In this day and age anyone can do whatever the hell they want.......... Doesnt mean "anyone" will get what they ask !!!!!!!!!

Yeah she had the cue up for $50k previously and it attracted alot of attention, but mostly in people ridiculing her for pricing the cue so outrageously. To me the cue looks like a Jensen.

To me the cue looked like something somebody dragged to the bar after work....LOLz

If this cue is of any true value it wouldn't be in the condition it is....just look at the ferrule...

I live about 20 miles from her. I spoke with her several times to try to hook up to take a look at the cue in person, but we couldn't seem to get together. I just quit trying to press her, and figured if she wanted to sell it or identify it bad enough she would call me. This cue looks ALOT like an old Viking cue (shown in the blue book, but can't recall the model). I think she wants to really try to find someone who will tell her she has a Balabushka or Szamboti, but it won't happen. I think she was probably conned and is now stuck really heavy in the cue, and doesn't want to admit that she really got screwed.

I doubt that she has any email trail from any of the guys she mentioned. I put together a post when she listed it for $50,000, and got basically the same response you are seeing in this thread.

She will entertain offers of 5 - 10k:confused: . Compared it to a Picasso, or a Van Gough, what a joke.

She also says she's not trying to rip anyone off.

I think maybe she has issues......serious issues.

I offered $60.00 thought that was fair for unknown, with poor photo's, that has seen a lot of play and could be anything from a mali, viking, etc etc etc
