I learned my lesson from the recent amateur event and will be paying my way very soon. I hope everyone else learns from my mistake. I waited until the day before and found out it was sold out. Get your entry fee in NOW!

My road dog, whom WAS gonna be splitting expenses, didn't get in either!! That sucked.......fortunately I found an OLD Geezer to split a room!:D ;)

The quarterly amatuer events and the annual event all have good money added! I love this tournament!! This is the first Houston Open that we will have the final rounds & finals on Diamond tables!!

Don't get left out!!! Get your entry in early and save some $$!

Hey guys, Jason Bacon here. Just wanted to let everybody know that the flyer says LOSER BREAKS but it is actually ALTERNATE BREAKS. For some reason there was a mistake on the flyer and its too late to correct it now since it is already on the internet. Ted and Mindy will be making the correction during the tournament announcements to clear up any confusion.

Jason is correct. The Houston Open went to alternating breaks beginning last year. The flyer will be updated.

Definitely going to be loads of fun. I plan on flying in for this one that Friday just so I can be there that weekend. See if Jason can pull off an amatuer and an open all in 6 months.

I need to get my entry paid. I've already gotten my hotel (Marriott near Hobby for $50/night on Priceline, $40 didn't take). Unfortunately, work will keep me here on Friday during the day, so I'll be down there late Friday night.
