Just found another one. Has anyone seen these colors before, purple and red? I haven't but don't know too much about the 26 1/2's. The shaft is warped but the butt is good.
I'll post pics again when it's done.

Those return points are the REAL DEAL. Nice find. Unusual colors, first one of those I've seen. I wonder if Herman had anything to do with that cue???

CHOICE!!!

No Wrap Now

I took off the wrap. So cool to see the actual veneer color. Looks like everything is in good shape.
The case came with it. Anyone know anything about it? Not as old as cue right???

Is this going to Jerry for a wrap less conversion? Sick cue! Where the heck do you keep finding these beauties??!!

The Cue looks like and old conversion

If I said who probably built it you might have a heart attack. Never should have removed the wrap. It will make a fine modern Cue.
Nick :)

Man I hate you.

But I really love your current one. I like the color scheme of both.

Very cool. I am glad that I got to see the before and after pictures of the wrap on this cue.

Thanks. I got some crap for taking the wrap off it. I really didn't have a choice, it was falling off. I don't want to have a cue to stare at. I want to make it a player, put back into circulation while keeping it true to form.

Back From Jerry

Just got it back yesterday. Jerry R knocked it out of the park again. Stunning in person. Old growth shafts.

I saw it in your new thread a few minutes ago and it looked really
good, but now that I look at the before and after pictures, it looks
even better. I know the finished product is the same cue in both
threads, but seeing where it started and then where it ended makes
me appreciate the cue that much more. Great job by Jerry and it
looks like a sweet player. Congrats to you again.

I don't know, how to say it right... I understand he had to cut off the forearm, but I don't like the points so near to joint. The older version looks much harmonically to me.
No offence.
