thanks

and nvm the pm I sent you.... it breaks awesome after some getting used to

the reason for me wanting to change the tip is because owner of the pool hall will come after me cause I leave scrape marks on the table .... last time I had a one piece tip he straight up came up to me. eh

That makes sense...send it back & we'll go with a white ferrule & fool him.;)

#543 96
I agree. It really is a nice looking cue.

EDIT: I didn't realize this was the 243rd cue of 1996. I thought it was the 43rd cue and that they used #500 for some other reason.

The only reason I paid that kind of money is because you said it was signed by Earl.

Nice looking cue, I have an ebony SW with curly maple points and red and blue veneers. Unfortunately, the shafts are being worked on by Southwest and I'm temporarily southwestless.

I have a few questions:

Why was a leather wrap put on a brand new SW? And by someone other than SW?

When you were talking about breaking, were you talking about breaking with this cue? If so, I would hardly consider the cue brand new. Did I read this wrong?

Is the cue still for sale?

I'm not trying to offend you or anything. I might be interested but need to understand is all.

I am not the original buyer..... thus I don't know the reason behind the rewrapping ... maybe personal preference by previous owner....
I don't know where "breaking" ..... came from .....
cue is still for sale
I never said cue is BRAND new

...

Thanks

This is where I got the question about breaking. If you were discussing breaking with another cue, my apologies, I couldn't tell, thus the question.
