Thanks for your efforts.

Hey Everyone,

The first ever 3c live streaming tournament is scheduled for Jan 9-11 at The Hall of Fame Billiards in Warren, Mi (sub of Detroit). This is a USBA sanctioned tournament and qualifier for the Nationals.

Thanks Steve for posting this announcement of the live streaming. I am very much looking forward to doing this live stream. Hopefully it will generate interest among pool players who are not aware of the beauty of this truly wonderful game.

More info on the tourney format can be found at the following link, but as I understand this could change depending on the number of entrants.
http://www.usba.net/2009Qual-HallFame-1-9.asp

Also subject to change, due to the number of entrants, is the time schedule. As it stands now play will begin each day at 10:00AM EST and end at approximately 6:00PM EST.

I would like to continue the live stream to include any after hours action, but have not yet cleared this with the owner of the Hall of Fame Billiards.

Steve

I am not saying that this is the first live streaming of a billiard tourney, but it certainly is for me.

The players:

Is it somehow possible to place this notice on the pool player side of the forum to possibly get more pool players to watch?

I hope Bill Johnson Luck in this tournament. Hope to be able to watch.
Does it seen that USBA losing for members. http://www.usba.net/usbacurrentmembers.asp

We are not losing members. Once January 1st arrived, most of the members' dues became due again, so naturally the number went down dramatically, but will come back up again over the course of the year.

Besides, the link you posted is not for the public anyway, it is for tournament directors so that they know who needs to pay their dues at tournaments. Please don't post that link again.

Thanks!
