2000-2500 is perfect for finding a custom player!!! No, nobody necessarily needs to spend that kind of money on a cue...but it sure is nice because of all the choices that are available in that range...
My best piece of advice is for you is to take your time choosing... There are tons of cues for sale on here and some of the member's websites....Classic Cues, Cornerstone, Superior Cues, etc... The choices are endless...
If you have a maker you're interested in...
Use the search function in the Wanted/For Sale, and type in the makers name, and you'll be surprised as to how many pop up....especially at reduced prices... and just remember, you're in control of what's happening...take your time and be choosy if you will...make offers and see what happens!!!
