That's right. one more already planned.

Need the players at both events to get in Sammie's ear.:eek::rolleyes::frown::cool:

He plans on not having these nice tournaments for a while after the March 20th event. I think he will still reap a good field in April and May before it gets too nice to do outdoors things which will draw down the field?

See Flyer.
Bring an overnight bag, as the finals will most likely carry over to Sunday.

Will be tought to make

Should be a better turn out and worth draggin out to 2 days.

I think this less than 40 man field could have been wrapped up during 1 day. But,??? I was not there at 11 p.m. when the winners bracket final 2 were told that they were DONE for the day.:p:p:p

it was 11:30 and jonnys k matches was taking over 1 hour and even if jonnys match could got done we still would not had time to finsh the tournament anyway and the last 4 player was 1 local and the other 3 already had a room and was planning on staying so it was the only thing to do

All you guys Local to quincy this is your sign. You do not have to win the tournament to get money in this event.:wink::wink:

just my opinion...

but are there more people interested in playing in this event if it was with red circle cue balls. my opinion is if i pay $15 green fee i want to play with a good cue ball. i'm just throwing it out there. i know it's been discussed but i don't attend this tournament because of that. just wondering if you'all would get a better turnout????? sorry to beat a dead horse.

I tend to agree

Sammie break out the red circles, it will make it easier for me to select the winner.

A $15 green fee, NO QUARTERS, $2,000 Added, No Percentage Taken Out of the Calcutta, action friendly atmosphere and you think that Sammy is not running a great tournament????

Sammy's explanation of this was perfect to me - he is holding a bar table event and to him a bar table means that you aren't playing under perfect conditions.

You are right, keep traveling to these events that use a red circle and you spend $60 in quarters if you win and they take out $15+ a player as a green fee with 10% of the Calcutta.

I hear some tournament directors PEEL 15 percent of the auction funds basically giving them the same that finishing 3rd place pays. Just sayin.

Sammie would have that info

Anyone have the payouts from the last tourney?

Thanks,
Aaron

What I can tell you is that the auction was
If I remember down to the penny
840
600
410
210 For the top 4

Tournament, I know 1st place was
775 not bad return for 40 bucks.
2nd place was close to 600
3rd place was between 3 and 400.

You should make the trip, you do not even have to stay over unless you get into the calcutta. I know you do not like bar tables but, they are like toy boxes compared to Gold Crowns.;)
