I am not clear as to how many places you pay.

Sam generally pays 1/4 of the field, with the auction paying the first 4 places.
The auction is expanded if the quantity of players increases to 64 then a couple more places are paid ie 5th snf 6th in the auction.

Is there someplace else that adds 2000 in Illinois this weekend?

Any really good players want to go? Dustin has to babysit.

Although AJ is hiding out at the casino this weekend, I have located a former winner of this tournament to STAKE. It will require some additional driving to get him there but OH WELL> Tourney pays good enough to pay gas for the extra miles.

Baraks went to Decatur to play in an all American Event which paid $275 bucks for 1st vs your tournament where 1st place was $880? give or take a few bucks. Their auction was higher 1000 vs 800 but that does not make up for the 600 prize money difference plus they drove further.
Dunklin was there too? I just dont get it.

I am bringing the tournament winner with me. The poker nerd is staying home this weekend.

Will not be buying him in the auction, but will buy who I think will come in 2nd place.

Hope it is worth the early morning wake up and drive up there for the last tourny til FALL.
