Great News! This just out from Dragon Promotions!

And the Accu-Stats Arena is located at Comet!

Players and Fans,
We are sure this is music to your ears, but the event will definitely be on this August 25-30,2009 !!
The venue will be Comet Billiards in Parsippany, New Jersey.

same format as the previous 3 years since DP revived the event, with round robin to start at 64 players.

Prize money and event details for players will be forthcoming.

Better tables more conducive to 14.1.

I wonder about qualifiers.

It sure is! And not just great news for 14.1 and all the players, but also for Comet Billiards and its owners Bill and Marsha Haley. They have one of the best rooms in the country and have really given so much to the players - this is going to be an awesome event!

The NCS 14.1 National Championship is a qualifer to the World Championship

Better tables more conducive to 14.1.

I wonder about qualifiers.

Per an agreement with Dragon Promotions, the top two finishers of the NCS 14.1 Continuous National Championship will receive spots to the 2009 World 14.1 Championship. The NCS 14.1 national event will be at Comet Billiards (home of the wonderful Accu-Stats Arena) July 31-August 2.

Below is the list of remaining qualifiers for the NCS 14.1 tournament. If you are interested in hosting a qualifier we have endeavored to make it simple and affordable. There is a $100 sanction fee which you will also receive banners, a flyer template, and forms. With 7 players, the host room will minimally break even and it equals one spot to the NCS national event.

If interested please contact me at holly@playcsipool.com or call 702-719-7665 (CSI office) or my cell 602-312-8155. For more information about the National Championship Series please visit www.playcsipool.com.

qualifiers

I understand that the top two from the ncs are qualified, but does anyone know if they are going to have other qualifiers like the last two years??

FTR... I was just informed that the dates for this event are August 24-29.

Thanks for that update David, I was wondering why they changed the original dates from the 24th to the 25th start.

Another big positive I see for this years worlds is that the Turning Stone ends on the 23rd, all those great players can just head a bit south to Parsippany afterward! :)
