2010 AZ Straight Pool Challenge!

Got my head put of my you know what

Been in a slump for the last couple of weeks.

Showed some signs of pulling out of it

ran a 46 today Jan 2, 2010 playing no count against my wife, i needed 9 for the win so i just had to show her whats up and kept on going.

Wow, i feel famous to see my name up there!

Hello everyone this is my first post on the forums! Thanks for adding my run to the list! I was very proud of my run of 14! Even more so because it was on a gold crown with tight pockets! Until last month i could not break 9! Thanks to all the help my husband (Stevekur1) has given me my pool skills have gotten so much better! My new goal....20!

Bobby runs 164 jan.2nd

Well i just broke in the new year with a run of 164 on my 4.5 pocket diamond.what is amazing is it was 20 degrees all day long and the balls were breaking fairly easy.i got stuck and missed a cross side shot jacked up over a ball.we will be recording again all of sunday trying to get a run of 200+ hopefully again real soon.

So after you ve been *infected* by Stevekur1 nothin could help you than keep playin further...lol- just notice if you re able to run one rack like you did- you could run much more racks:) you just have to love what you do, and be just satisfied to be able to spend your freetime on your hobby (and this with your loved husband-much greater-not many guys have this luck to have a wife *accepting* and even likin his hobby).

I m sure you ll *catch* the 20 very soon hun^^

Pay Attention Stevekur1, watch out now everywhere you are :p

anyway i wish i could have everybody on this 14.1 forum come to a poolroom with a perfect playing loose table ,i would get a kick out of practicing in front of all you guys and trying to break mosconies record.
it would be very inspiring for me to try to do massive runs with a group like you people who know what your looking

I would be there.
today 2 times over 54, 2 times over 44, not bad for me, but not good enough for me too.

Yeah i know i have to break the camera out again, kid of a hassle carrying two cue cases a set of balls and a rack, and then the camera to the pool hall. especially when it is like 50 below here !!!!

cant wait to have my own table so i can mount the camera !

Yesterday morning

I set up a side break shot and ran 18 and missed. Set up another break and ran 54. I am running in the 50's at least one time a day. I need to step up to another level. It is a hard thing to do.

today ran the first big run after soooo long time- I m just happy :p
After 76 balls 10 open balls, no problems and missed on a straight-in stop-shot about 90 cm away, gnaaah -_- ....but i m anyway very satisfied :happydance:
Hopin for more constancy/stability in the future- can t wait til i ll get my new glasses.

got a 15 today...rattled an easy shot, bad break shot.

trying to run 30 before I turn 30 on jan 25th
 
A 44 to start of the year. It's alright I guess, but all in all it was a frusterating practice session. I was trying hard to start off with a 50 for the year, was in a position to to do so too as I had 7 balls left on the table.
 
it s drivin me crazy that i m still not able to *cut* mpg4 files -_-.
thought i m usualy not too stupid with things depending with computer....but -_-
if anyone knows an *easy*way for this, i would appreciate it :)

I've started off slow this year... started off a competitive game, but got interrupted. My high run was 8 on January 2, 2010. Incidentally, on the next table over, I had my first B&R playing 8-ball this year.
 
chalk me up for a 24 got a great angle on my break ball for once. then missed an easy shot trying to get position.
