These 15 minute breaks after every four games are really, really tedious. They need to get rid of that, especially since the players tend to go out while the balls are being racked a lot of the time.

Dream final would be Davis vs. Hendry. But that might be a little too much too ask. Oh well, I'd love to see Steve do well.

He's notorious for not practicing anymore, but he recently stated that he is going to be a full time professional again and put the proper practice time in. It would be nice to see a resurgence from the Nugget.

That said, it's crazy if you think about it that he's 52 doesnt practice or play any non-ranking tournaments and is still ranked 23rd in the world. Guys like Jimmy White work their asses off, are younger and are just barely clinging to their spot on the tour.

It really is amazing. To be competitive at 52 in snooker is, to me, way more impressive than a 52 year old playing world class pool.

If he really does start practicing again I can conceivably see him winning a title in the near future.

The double on the brown in the last frame was awesome. This match is an instant classic. Steve Davis = timeless brilliance.

It'll be Steve vs Neil in the Quarters. I was kind of hoping for Martin to win only because Steve would be favorite of him.

Gotta say though, Neil Robertson coming back from 11-5 down was brilliant.

Neil showed an extraordinary amount of mental toughness today to fight back from that deficit. Steve Davis is not on my short list of favorite players, but for some reason I always find myself rooting for the underdog. After today I am officially pulling for Davis to win it all, although I wouldn't mind seeing Selby, Allen or Robertson bring it home.

If Davis won a 7th title it would solidify him as the greatest of all time. He tends get forgotten about because Hendry and O'Sullivan have a more exciting style. He does have one more UK title than Hendry...

BUT if Davis wins I'll be a little pissed. At the beginning of the season I saw his odds to win the World Title were at 1500-1. I was going to put a small bet on him for s&g's but never got around to it. Mostly kept forgetting.

Could be the biggest mistake of your life. Hey..... If he slips in to the finals it would be easy for collusion allegations to be made if big bets were put down on him before the tournament started.
