53 Today!

Second highest run for me, got stuck in the pack after a break shot around 24 and managed to make a masse shot in the side with only half a pocket, lucky shot, but I made to to 53 from there.

Vahmurka is at it, everyone needs support, especially the "underrunners" :) Good job, Steve

I am a firm believer that a positive attitude is half of the battle, and i as well am a Underrunner as well.....Some days the balls co-operate and you just have to roll with it !!!!

Hi straight-pool folks :)

@steve
good sentence!

the word *underrunners* sounds a bit negative to me. No matter what s the skill-level of someone-he s putting the same enthusiasm into the game like a *bigrunner*. So those *underrunners* deserve the same respect and they sometimes need to get pushed by nice comments or just good advices!

Today felt a bit better and was about 3 1/2 hours at the table....now feel terrible again-LOL
Made 10 innings- still makes me crazy that i m not able to reach the cueball from every position on the table, grmbl. Afterwards it s funny- im playing the ball and think "yes, nice position...go around the table and then....Arrrgs...how can i reach it, rofl!"

1.) 13
2.) 03
3.) 29
4.) 10
5.) 56-1 (cb scratched after a 80 ° break thru the rack into cornerpocket
6.) 22
7.) 2 -_-
8.) 39
9.) 02 -_-
10. 24

Takes it s time-but still having fun.

keep shooting friends,

Ingo

btw.
what about the 143 by Steve Lipsky? or was it a video from last year?

agree, that was the reason I put the word in double quotes ;)

79

I had a 79 last night when I got some practice in.
I had a 51 during a League match on Saturday, winning my match 150 to 44.
I also played another match on Saturday and ran a few 30's with the highest of 37. I won that match 150 to 33. All n all, I had a good day to do as well as I did with the poor equipment & lighting that we have to deal with. Very Satisfied.

Good shooting Mike! My matches this year have been pretty bad in terms of high runs. I think my lowest high run in a match last season was an 18. So far through 5 matches (2 wins, 3 losses) this season, my high run is only 18. Last year, I only had one match where I didn't at least hit 20. It may be because I'm now hyper-aware of everything I'm doing and maybe I need to relax a bit more! :p

Thank You

Very strong Mike, dumbs up

LOL.....my German friend. I seen that (dumbs) and I got scared....but then I seen (thumbup)...... LOL
Thanks, it means alot. I just ran 71. I was shooting very well and I thought I had a 100 tonight for sure. I played a break shot about an inch from the long rail to the right side of the rack. Put some inside left on the cue ball. Made the shot and sent the cue ball to the top of the rack. The rack sounded like concrete. The cue ball rolled away from the rack but only two balls had come out of it and I had no shot at all. End of story.

Congrats Mikey Mouse, very glad to hear that you are still hitting them strong !!!

Run of 75 today. It was followed by a 44 and 40. I like the numbers, but I'm not happy with the way I did it. I had some good patterns but there were too many tough shots considering the racks were opening up nicely. And I wasn't looking for the insurance balls.

Grats Cameron,

don t be crazy :) The tough shots are the necessary parts to make good runs. This is just speaking for your ability to handle bad rolls!
And 3 good runs in a row is very strong!

keep shooting,

71 on March 7, 2011 at Jack n Jill's in Wilkes-Barre, PA on table #2, a GC3. A lot of play on a Diamond may be paying off.

Thanks Steve

Thanks Steve. Came up short on the key ball giving me a slightly off angle combination through the rack. BUT! If I hit it slightly softer and a half a tip lower I would've ended up with a perfect classic break shot to open the 6th rack. As a result, I ended up with a shallow angle on a low break ball. Drew the cue into the corner ball and it went to the back rail leaving me a full table tough bank to keep the run going, but barely missed. Thanks again.

Ron

Ran a 48 on an 8-footer last night (March 8, 2011), besting my high run by 1! This year has seen both my 9-footer and 8-footer high runs (45 and 48). Run ended on a miss on the key ball which was a ball I left on the rail too long. I'm working on breaking 50 this year! :p
