2011 Yalin Women's World 10-Ball Championship

kf shoots the 1 with a long bank rail 1st...plays safety on the 2....tsai leaves it at the open...9 balls remain for kf to run out...balls are all around the table...nothing difficult here for these women...

kf now shooting 5th ball...6 balls remain...4 games away from her 1st 10 ball title...
jasmin and rubilen held titles both out early of the tournament...

tsai had a weak safety i think she is crumbling inside...kf much solid play now with 2 balls remaining...9 down now....kf with a long 10 ball shot...its down.....2 rack lead...6-4 for kf...

kf breaks...dry break what an ugly table...5 balls in the cluster...tsai push shot...1 ball on the long rail kf plays safety not quite....tsai with 4 errors already kf with 2...wonderful shot making too...highest quality game...as ralf said....safety again for tsai...kf to kick in with 2 rails...bad shot missing it in between...calling it 1 rail...tsai bringing down the 1...safety again on the 2 but kf can see this...kf missing...2 now in the cluster...6 balls cluster...tsai safe again....ahhh...ugly table really...
3,4,6,7 10 on the cluster...slowly drifting apart...balls getting hit softly long table play coming...

kf to jump...missed the 2...open 2 but the cluster still there...

2 again placed by tsai near the cluster...kf calling the 10 ball now with a carom..missed it safety again for the 2..
 
kf slowly but surely taking control of this match...kf runs out...7 to 4..inching closer to the title....tsai needs to fight back...
 
long play again here...8 balls remain kf shooting...kelly getting very very comfortable now...tsai now needs to step up her game if she wants this...

kelly with 4 balls reamining...7 on the side down now,,,8 down again...9 down...and 10 ball down easy...

slowly and closer and closer kelly's winning this...
8-4 now with kelly to break....
 
kelly now seems getting stronger and stronger every rack...4 balls remain...tsai...gotta get back...but not now coz kf is in the zone...last ball now....kelly downs it....1 more rack go kelly...

9-4 now...tsai felt like she run out of gas...long week for her...kellys going to lift up that trophy after this last rack..
 
kellys break a dry one....last chance for tsai pei chen to recover...but i think its the beginning of the end for her...missed the 1...kf now on the table...she is very close now...from 3-1....tsai missed the 10 it could have been 2 all...after that...its all kelly....title will come home to europe now with ralf holding the mens title...

6 balls remain...kf downed the 5...kf broke the 7,8 cluster 9 ball in the way of the 7 though...

kellys stopping for a while with the 7 going down on the side but bad position for the 8...3 balls remain...

safety for kelly...tsai back up on the table...calling the 8 10 carom shot...do or die for tsai now...

missed the 10...now its kellys turn for the championship...

8 on the side...9 going in the top right corner...10 now for the win...yessss....confetti flying kelly hugging tsai...the 10 balll world womens champion...very happy kelly....10 to 4

shouting alright alright hahahaha shaking all the hands of the people in manila....

well done kelly....undeafeated all throughout the tournament...
 
Who says that the Chinese lady pros are the best in the land? Well, Kelly just made a statement! :D

Just watched it at the bar! Way to Go Team Fury. Way to Go Kelly! Congratulations to Pei Pei Zhen!

Pei Zhen hooks herself at 9:8 for her against Ga Young Kim and she calmly kicks in a moderately tough kick shot to run out the remaining three balls to get into the finals.

In the finals both start out a touch rocky but Kelly pulls away. Great to have been able to watch Kelly win her first pool World Championship on live TV.

I am very happy for both of my friends right now!!!!
