Thanks much, great stuff..

no extra money for a maximum? what craziness is this? Ronnie needs his "Bentley bonus".

Insurance is no longer available.
As the number of tournaments increased the number of 147s has increased dramatically.

There are video links for some on the right hand side

#83 and #84 were by the same player, two days apart.
Part of #84

There is a rolling 147 prize, 5000 pounds per tournament accumulating, so it is not a prize specific to the tournament prize money total.

And a 147 would be a lock on The Golden Cue

I was wondering when the insurers would wise up about that. Rare events get a hell of a lot less rare when there's big money on the line.

US insurers found that out the hard way years ago when Earl Strickland ran 11 racks of 9 ball to collect a $1,000,000 prize.

Quarter Finals start tomorrow (April 30) continues on Wednesday
Best of 25

EDT
5 a.m.
Ding Junhui vs Barry Hawkins
Shaun Murphy vs Judd Trump

9:30 a.m.
Ricky Walden vs Michael White
Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Stuart Bingham

The third session of the finals starts (for US viewers) at 9:30 AM EDT or 6:30AM PDT Monday. The last session of the finals starts at 2PM EDT or 11AM PDT unless my time zone calculator slipped a cog.

Has the livesport.tv link been working well?

yes today it worked very well, best it has in some time. i' in europe and watching on Eurosport-except for today, they delayed it for some damn bicycle race, I wanted to see it live, so i logged onto Stopstream and it was perfect. Also before I came to europe a month ago I was watching qualifiers on Stop Stream from home in LA it was great 80% of the time. finally....

The morning session just finished. O'Sullivan appears invincible at this point having cleared up a very difficult layout with all the reds clustered around the black. If you can find frame 25 of the match on YouTube later be sure to check it out. The score is now 15-10 O'Sullivan over Hawkins with the final session to start in two hours. First to 18.
