2016 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

Put me down for a 60 on February 7th 2016

It's all starting to come back to me now, feeling pretty decent but can't push it !!

You posted the video as private, nobody can watch it unless you give them a password. Go back and change it to public.

I was attracted to this forum two years ago, when I took up playing straight pool again after many years away from it, because it seemed like a place of good will among those with a passion for the game. That was more of a hope than an impression, I've finally realized. This kind of rudeness, together with ad hominem and sarcastic posts coming from those who claim to be leading the renaissance of straight pool, is not what I, for one, want to read. It's just detrimental to the game. I don't expect that anyone will care about my two cents, but I've reached the stage of life where, when I think something should be said, I say it. Seth.

I don't see any rudeness, he was just letting you know the video was password protected

Private? Where'd I do that? On YouTube or azbilliards? I'm confused

I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just letting you know that you posted the video on YouTube as private, it's a common mistake. It appears to me that you are the one being rude for reading something into my post that clearly wasn't there.

This is my first attempt at this. I blew a decent run missing an easy shot, as usual.

hope I post this right

Yep. I have accidentally done this before, too. When you post the video to youtube, you have an option of making it public, unlisted or private. If you want others to be able to see your video, you need to go back to youtube, edit this video, and change private to public.

That way people can watch it and comment.

Take care.

I take it that if you video'd it, we would know.

No video this time, my buddy didn't bring his GoPro this time, and my camera is screwed up.
I may pickup a GoPro for myself so I can record a bit easier. Once I pickup my laptop I should be back in action as far as posting footage.

The run was witnessed though by a few guys at my room.

Good run, 49 by my count. Great billiard to start off rack 4. Uncharacteristic miss on the one ball, I assume you were trying to break up those two balls. You shoot straight and take the balls off the table good. You're going to have plenty of high runs.

Too bad your camera isn't working. I think the last one you put up was in 2011.

Lots of nice runs between then and now that did not make it onto video.

thanks Marop!

Your so right on the reason I missed. I took my eye off the ball too being to concerned where the cue ball was going.
I am getting this table re covered and leveled soon because I just recently moved it w a motorcycle jack and split the joints. oh well it plays good enough for now. back to the tables!!
