He may have been playing for something but it damn sure wasn't that.

That is possible but the voices sound identical.:confused: I would make a small wager ($5 or a beer) that it was changed. At first I thought maybe it was the stuff I was smoking, then I remembered I was not smoking. Just glad that someone else saw and remembered the original commentary that I heard.:grin:

I was watching on cricfree, whichever feed comes up initially.

The red did kick the cue ball. However if you watch the path and speed of the cue ball before the kick. It was going up table on much the same line just at a slower speed. looked to me like it would have finished in the same area without the kick. Just without going in and out of balk.
Yes, he did get lucky but it was the Efren kind of luck.:thumbup:

As pmac666 said, the fact that he did not raise his hand in apology is an indicator that the shot went as he expected. It is possible that his focus was on the slow moving red going to the pocket and he was unaware of the red accelerating the cue ball. I think it ended up where he expected. He was shooting off of a rest which made the shot even harder.

Ok I conceded the beer, different commentary. Those British accents all sound alike to me.:thumbup:
