For those who don't like to click on random links, here is the start of the press release:
For the first time fans watching this year’s partypoker Mosconi Cup will have the power to decide which players face off in a singles match.
The players to contest the first fixture of the second day’s play on Wednesday, December 4th will be chosen by a Fans’ Choice vote, conducted at MosconiCup.com. Fans will be able to select one player from each team with the player from each team who receives the most votes going head-to-head in Wednesday’s opening match.
The Fans’ Choice match has no determining factor on other fixtures, meaning the players taking part in the Fans’ Choice fixture can be chosen again that day by their captains. The Fans’ Choice vote will open on Wednesday, November 28th and close at 5pm on Wednesday, December 5th at www.MosconiCup.com.

Blood will flow!SVB vs. Shaw. Duh.
The statement says that the fan pick will have no influence on which players are eligible to play in other matches. That means that we could see two Shaw/SVB singles matches back-to-back.There are usually two singles matches on day 1, right? Whoever the fans pick first I assume can’t be picked last by the captains.
I have a feeling the fan pick will match up first what should have been last.

This fan's choice is Mario He vs Alex Kazakis.
One thing that the US don't want is SVB versus Kazakis. Alex is the man in form at the moment. Replacing Mario with the Greek has just lengthened USA's chances even further. I just cannot see Europe needing a fourth day now.
