I beat the 10-ball ghost for the first time today (2-12-2020) and filmed it. Score was 7-3. Table is Oversized 8 foot Gandy with reduced size pockets.
For me the 10 ball ghost seems a bit easier than the 9-ball ghost because even though I make a ball almost every time in 9-ball there are usually 4 or more balls below the footspot in 9-ball. And if they arent below the footspot they are usually clustered together on the right long rail. I guess my break needs more work. Does anyone else have this problem?

Good shooting.
As for your 9 ball break questions. Do a vid of you doing this:
Rack the balls like this with 1 ball on spot. Make sure the rack is straight. Use a template if possible. Also, make sure the balls are clean but not polished slick.
................1
..............6..3
............4..9..5
..............7...8
................2
Break from the side of table that the 6 ball is on or rack the balls opposite if you break from other side of table.
Put edge of CB 4 to 5 inches off long rail at head string.
Break the balls by hitting head ball square and keep cb inside center table area.
After you break, let them set there for a minute or so.....then repeat by racking the same way and breaking from exact spot. Make sure you monitor your stroke speed and try your best to keep it consistent.
After you do the above around 6 or 8 times move the cb over toward center table by 2 or 3 inches and repeat......for 6 to 8 times....
Move cb over again etc...etc
After you have reached the diamond cross section...post the vid and let everyone put their experience to work for you...
Good luck sir,
Jeff
BTW, the reason the balls need to be racked the same is because that way you will learn a great deal about what happens during a break to give you a better idea of the destination of each ball in the rack after the break.
That is called pattern racking and is not to be used in tournaments etc...etc. But, it is a really good teaching tool for the break.
Also, don't try to kill the head ball. Break at 75% speed.
