2022 World Snooker Championship (Apr 16th - May 2nd)

Fortunately, the video can be sped up with the controller in the upper left of the picture.

The frame is said to be 85 minutes and 22 sec., but it is over 87 minutes on the YouTube video. What accounts for that?
I like long frames

hoping for trump to step his game up a bit. he made some incredible shots yesterday, but that was only in spots, much of the match was only decent and error riddled. bingham in form is tough action for anyone

I was out, did not watch first sessions live but both Ronnie and Mark ended up 6-2 up.
I read, if Williams keeps going, he has a shout of beating a Hendry record of 16 centuries in one World Championship. He is now on 11 this year.

Maguire has a bad record vs O'Sullivan, 18-4 loss and over a long match, yeah, don't rate him changing that.

Yan maybe a bit young and mentally fatigued after Selby. I would say, from frame scores I read Williams is just too hot at the moment.

Early start for me, I see the next matches have started, will have to watch replays.
Jack vs John, going for Jack in this one..
Judd vs Stuart... Hmm, Judd needs to find top gear to win.

Watching Ronnie play tonight. He’s got problems if he intends on winning, he’ll beat Maguire-but that’s not saying much. Both are playing horrible. Look like club players. 😕

There is always a bad session or match in there.
Seen winners of this Championship have the odd one, hey even some poor quality finals in the past.
Usually its who wants it most that gets over the line.

Ronnie knows he will have a bad session, he has finally accepted he cannot play great all the time.
He has a B game, even a C game that has won him matches.

I think he will beat Maguire, called it before the match.
The next opponent he will reset.
Often when someone is playing good, it lifts you again and I expect Ronnie will rise again.

Not worried.

I think the commentators said that the potty break didn't count.

True Champions know how to Win when they don't play their Best!

I watched a bit of the match. Can't remember exactly which part of the match it was as I was multi-tasking, but some of Ronnie's play was sublime and as good as his best. It's not easy to maintain that level for a long time and I'm not surprised if he had a bad session. He's 2 frames away from the semi-final, just needs to get over the line.

Yan Bingtao battled back from 6-2 down to level at 8-8 against three-time Crucible king Mark Williams.....

Game on man, game on.

Pretty crazy that Ronnie's centuries per season is higher over the last 6 seasons than most of his career.

mark williams just made the match ball. we could possibly get a world championship where all four semifinalists are 45 years or older.
