2022 World Snooker Championship (Apr 16th - May 2nd)

Trump misses a red with due to a "kick" (I'm learning here) and the commentators put the chalk on blast.

Rough quote: "No idea why anyone continues to use that chalk."

that skid was bad luck, but he is one of the last ones clinging on to the triangle chalk.. other players have little sympathy for him

Wow, that 31st frame was amazing to watch. Great shots by both players, and it came down to a battle over the last three balls!

The whole frame was amazing. Among one of the best I’ve seen in a very long time.

This is where you see the true ability to handle the heat. It don’t get hotter than this. This is what separates practice champions from real champions.

huge mental error by Judd on his final safety to play the side to side, gifted a short distance shot to Mark

also playing a distance safe on the green, when he could make the green, against a player known to shoot at everything and not missing much..

The last significant change to snooker rules I know of was for when the foul-and-a-miss rule applied and that was within the last ten years.
Foul and miss was introduced at least 25 years ago.
But you might be right, that they made some slight changes around 10 or 12 years ago.

Fluked in a red, on the black to that pocket that’s played funny last 2 days-he did hit it bad.

Anyones frame from here. Probably go to a decider frame.

Judd's parents are sweating it. Judd must win this frame to tie, 16-16. Winner of the decider, if Judd wins this frame, will go to the finals.

As the two champions enter the stage, the entire audience stood up and gave them a standing ovation for several minutes. They shook hands and smiled. It was nice to see.
