Ronnie case hardening tip with lighter. Well burning off fibers. Will harden also. Surely he knows that.
 
Ronnie's tip appears harder and at what I would consider perfect height. Judd's appears softer and closer to cheff hat.
 
The significance of this frame should not be underestimated. If Judd wins, 14-11 going into Session 4 will be a lot different for both players than 15-10. Trump in the driver's seat for the win now, thanks to a fluke.
 
We're now going to have a Session 4. Judd wins again. This is the first session in the World Championship that Ronnie lost, 6-2.

making up 4 frames was spectacular, expect guns blazing from Trump in the final session

Ronnie has crumbled mentally in the past, he will no doubt be effected significantly if Trump brings his A game

The stats show Judd's safety success higher by one point at 79. Big part of playing "at This Level".
 
Ronnie appears comfortable. .so far. He hits lots of either or shots. If Judd continues to pass the tests...... reminds me of watching Cole playing Harry.
 
Judd fired a long range shot into half a pocket to get to the finals. Definitely dangerous.
 
hope is alive for trump (and the bonus end of my bet). still a very big ask.

both are playing fairly good. finals can be scrappy affairs, but we are getting shooters snooker, i like that.
 
Definitely getting my money s worth out of the month of DAZN. Was sweating the expiration all week. Finally got the notification and made it by 2 days.😉
Would have paid $20 for the next session.🤷
 
Today is Jimmy White's 60th Birthday. He walked out to a standing ovation by a packed house of onlookers. His three daughters were there as a surprise. Stephen Hendry smiled at Jimmy's funny remarks as the emcee was interviewing him.

Emcee asks him, "You've got no intention on handing up the cue yet, do you, Jimmy?" Without hesitation, Jimmy replies, "No. I'm too good for that." The entire crowd erupts in laughter, cheers, and applause. Notice the lapel pin on Jimmy's jacket.

it has always been flawed in the sense "not orthodox". his cue moves sideways before and after cue ball contact, especially notable in power shots, so timing becomes very important. still good play from trump this session

Whole heartedly agree... If nothing else the length of the event allows players to enjoy their own 'ebb and flow' with how they are playing. It's not a 'hope to catch lightening' single afternoon match. Players can have an off session and still tweak/regroup.

Love the format. Shame that I don't think there's a means for pool to effectively follow it.
