Thanks for the play by play!SVB for the win!
Nite nite yall! I'm done!
Sigel ,Is Sigel commentating? That's great to hear. And it should not surprise anyone if you end up liking him as a commentator, I remember watching some old tapes with him in the comms and he was great. The guy knows the game and knows how to convey it for the viewing audience.
He had it off for the 8 ball. Someone (maybe him, I forget) was saying it's due to the more type finesse shots. I wonder if he remembered how "normal" it is and decided to keep it off.Shane should never play with his extension again.
8 ball allows prioritizing position; something that presents no real issues to SVB. Nothing like appropriate shape in 10 ball as well.He had it off for the 8 ball. Someone (maybe him, I forget) was saying it's due to the more type finesse shots. I wonder if he remembered how "normal" it is and decided to keep it off.
I always thought these extensions were fads (except for super tall people). I'm 6'3" and my cue is only 60" long, and that's because a 58" falls out of my hands on normal shots.
I'm swimming by that hookSo when people say the pros today have a higher top gear... I say the generations connect the players. Busti is playing a live stream right now in the Phillipines and smashing the 10 ball rack harder than every modern pro (due to modern break format rules).
Shane beat Filler today. Shane is one generation older than Filler. Busti beat Shane pretty good in their TAR match in 2008/9 for 5K, the year Efren turned the lights out at the DCC. Busti is 2 generations older than Shane. You can make connections like this and say Filler is not any better than Busti, 3 generations apart, and hence the newer players do NOT play better than the older players.
That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.
Sometimes that's all it takes!Only one American in the field??? Wow.
