2026 DCC 9-Ball Discussion

I applaud Digital Pool for sharing the info on what's happening, but for the life of me, I can't tell who's on first and who's on second. There's some names there, but which competition is it? 9-Ball? One pocket? Banks? It's confusing. But I still appreciate this information dissemination. For those who do understand it, it's a good service for sure.

The matches are:
Filler - Teutscher
SVB - Pinegar
Meglino - Patsura

Fortunately, no "deliberate" players left. 🤣

I could be wrong, but...
Meglino is the only one with a buyback. If he loses, there are 4 in the next and last round before the finals. If he wins, and gets the bye, the other two left will play the semis, and Meglino loses his buyback. If Meglino wins, and plays again, and loses, his buyback will be active, and there will be three rounds of 9-Ball before the banks finals start. Worst case:
10:30 9-Ball
12:30 9-Ball
2:30 9-Ball semi
4:30 banks finals
6:30 one pocket finals
8:30 9-Ball finals
10:30 PM awards ceremony

I'm guessing at 2 hours per match. AtLarge probably has a better clue.

At least neither of the banks finalists is still in the 9-Ball. An option is to move the 9-Ball to a side table when it's time for the banks to start.
Are they going to pack up every table in the place other than the Arena table? They could easily have a round going at the same time as Banks.

Just another example of it being so F'n dumb they saved the Banks and 1P till today.

Same old Derby.

You first have to click on the particular event - if you click on the 9 ball you are seeing the 9 ball stuff, and so forth. Did you buy a pass for any of it? Not sure if that makes a difference in what you see when you get there, but this is the screen if you enter Derby City under tournaments.

They should def play the 9 ball rounds on outer tables in parallel with the banks final! (And 1 pocket if possible). 1 million percent.

Just quoting to get it to the next page as well, for those wondering about the schedule.

Slowpoke Pinegar won his Round 11 match. What's the over/under on how many tournaments he has slowed down?

he has been going deep i all these last years' scheduling clusterfk editions. but if it's not him it's someone else. patsura is slow, meglino is even slower.. they need to have a better system in place

Just watching highlights of Filler vs Gorst.

1. Both are dressed like homeless people.
2. Pockets are super generous.

Who the hell thinks this looks good for pool?

Thank god for Matchroom.

After 10 days Schmidt finally said something funny. "I was asked this morning if I'd rather watch Hennesse play 9 ball or have rectal cancer".
