I would love to be there, have to see what happen' on my desk. I'm taking a week off in Jan. for vacation and Feb - May is a bear of a time for us here at CSI :) I like Reno and would love to play. Will have to see.

Yeah, I went last year and the room was about $20/night....looks like the rates are still really low ($18/night weekdays and $40/night on weekends). I wish I could go but I can't get off of work at all in February.

Hi Cris,

Your post unknowingly helped us and I've been on the phone a few times today based on your post. The room block rate that we have from the hotel is still a great deal at $18 a night weekdays and $40 weekends, in fact people have made comments to me about it.

However, the rate you listed above is an screaming great price. The code you listed was an in-house special the Sands is running the month of Feb. We were not aprised of this special, but appreciate knowing about it. :)

So...all those attending the USBTC, we encourage you to avail yourself of this insane rate of $10 / $30 at the Sands. Come to Reno and play in the U.S. Bar Table Championships...truly one of the best if not the best bar table tournaments open to all players in the country.

If you were considering going to the USBTC, but hadn't fully made up your mind...what are you waiting for? They hotel adds $24,500 to this event, casinos need the player's to come out and support them and these rates, the reasons to go are just getting more compelling.
