X Breaker

The 2nd generation X Breaker is finally ready to be launched at Valley Forge.

The new X Breaker will feature the Xtreme Energy maXimizer.

This device is really revolutionary as it helps the player to have a more steady delivery of the cue upon impact, greatly improve cue ball control.

The maXimizer is made of a gel type material. You can drop an egg 5 feet above this new patented material and it will not break.

This new material will filter out unwanted vibration, and recoil upon impact to keep the tip on the cue ball longer to increase power and a straighter cue delivery.

It is naturally semi clear but I have it dyed to black for picture taking purpose.

The X Breaker logo on the joint is removed. Our new logo is now featured on the bottom of the maXimizer. It is color in red. The color of our logo will not come off.

One interesting thing about this new maXimizer is that most players who tried our X Breaker with and without it said they can have much better control and was able to park the cue ball in the middle much more often when the maXimizer was installed. They also reported more power and a more solid hit.

When I asked Wu to try the X Breaker with the maXimizer, he right away told me he could feel a big difference in the power he was able to deliver.

If you have any question, please do not hesitate to ask. We will be located at booth L27 in Valley Forge, which is on the lower level right next to the IPT and Frog jump cue booth.

Thank you.
Richard

I had it dyed in black because the original color does not show up well in the pictures. I will also post some pictures of the device in its original color.

Richard, congrats on the new x-breaker and the new, stronger technology.

I understand the concept behind the "extreme energy maximizer" as will most poeple. However, people are pretty picky about the size of the rubber bumper.

Would there be a way to cut down on the size of it and still have it perform to it's potential?

And just for comparison

Just to get in on this infomercial. We will have 25 Fury Jump Breakers available at the show. Try them out at the Fury Booth in the Special Events Arena. Bring all the other brands you want to compare and do a side-by-side comparison.

Maybe you can raffle one off for next years DCC or do a tourney contest like Tucker did and give one to the winner.

Figured with all the free advertising and market research you get on this site, it would be a nice thing to do

I think that is a great idea! There are quite a few vendors on this site that have been very supportive of both the Katrina charity auctions and the AZB-1p DCC room.

A special thank you to all that have contributed. :)

I just put in my order for the maXimizer.:p
I'll give a review once I have had enough time to try it out. Sounds to me that Richard is really trying to bring breaking to a whole new level. He really has this down to a science. Keep up the good work.

Richard,

What is the price of this new x breaker? I will not be going down to VF --- will I still be able to get the 10% discount from you? Also, is the xbreaker with the maximizer technology legal in tournaments?

thanks

I have invested a lot more with the new version but I will keep the price the same for now.

The 10% azbilliard member discount is a one time only discount only applicable at the booth during the duration of the show. It is a limited offer only for the duration of the show and the customer has to be there at the booth to claim the discount.

Each customer is only allowed to purchase one X Breaker at this discount. Because I will only have very few X Breaker at the show, this is offered on a first come first served basis. Once I am out, that is the end of the discount. I will not offer this discount for future delivery.

Tiffany Nelson was already breaking with a X Breaker with the maXimizer in the Amway World Women Championship last week. This device is totally legal.

Thank you for your interest in the X Breaker.

X-Breaker

Hi Richard,

I am extremely satisfied with my X-Breaker that I have been using exclusively now for over a month. I can see a remarkable improvement in my break and control of the cue ball over my previous break cue. Being able to hop over a ball and still maintain some control of the cueball is another plus of the X-Breaker cue.

Now here is my question......I noticed that the maximizer puts about another inch of length on the cue. This could be a problem fitting into many cases. My cases, both tube type and ProLite, will accommodate up to a 31-1/4" butt or shaft but anything longer will not fit without modifying the case.

Any possibility of recessing the maximizer into the butt so it dosen't stick out so far?

I notice the same thing too...I think the xbreaker will have problems fitting in cases unless you can remove the maximizer easily.

Also, is the maximizer tournament-legal?

Raemondo, Read the post prior to yours from Nippon... "Tiffany Nelson was already breaking with a X Breaker with the maXimizer in the Amway World Women Championship last week. This device is totally legal. "

Dear Jack,

How are you doing?

I am very happy that you like your X Breaker, it is a real pleasure to be able to build you something that you like. Thank you for taking your time to give me your valuable feedback. Your comment is greatly appreciated.

I can put the whole cue with the maXimizer into my regular length Dennis Swift, Dan Whitten, and Jack Justis case with no problem.

The length of the maXimizer which is exposed on the outside of the butt is 20mm (a bit more than 3/4 of an inch, but under one inch) in length. It is the exact same length as my joint pin.

This maXimizer can be screwed in and out of the butt with just a few turns, no screw driver or any other tool is required.

I do not use any of the import cue cases with a big rubber cap on the lid, I think those import cases are a bit shorter.

High end cue cases made in the USA will have no problem accomodating the X Breaker with the maXimizer as seen from the attached picture.

If it does not fit, it is very easy to unscrew it and put it back on. It is no more work than unscrewing a joint protector. I just timed myself and it took me 2.3 seconds to unscrew the maXimizer.

I do not use any joint protector on my X Breaker. After I put my X Breaker into my case, there is still about 1/2 inch head space left from the top of the case to the bottom of the cue.

I have added more pictures showing the measurments of the X Breaker with the maXimizer in my picture gallery.

Thank you very much for your kind words on the X Breaker. I hope you have a good time with your families. I will be looking forward to seeing you in the BCA in May.

Richard

Hi richard, hope its not to much of a OT, but u as a good breakcue builder, could u check on my post about new video idea? maybe u are the right guy for this job. education + promotion is never a bad combo. I wouldnt mind seeing some xbreaker promo on the video if it has what i think pool needs. (or at least i do)...

other question: Will there be a day where the stabaliser will be integrated in the buttcap? so i dont looks abit silly (i dont like to use this word) by sticking out in pritty flashy colors? Im sure it might scare some people off. (OK, if u dont like it, unscrew it... but then u wouldnt have the 'advantage' of having one.) Cant it be integrated so i dont looks so much like a lightsabre from starwars?

ps dont take this wrong, i really cant wait till i can afford a xbreaker so im the last one to bring u down and id love to promote it over europe (after i tested it myself), but just some food for the mind
