Some constructive criticism.
-slow it down
-don't hit things so hard
-bear down a lot more before pulling the trigger
-make an effort to hit the break squarely and actually try to control the cueball because you look like you are twisting and going sideways on the break and the cueball is going everywhere.

Is Rhea a D player?
I think they had a deal to quit at midnight and they broke even. The commentator was mentioning something about them talking about a rematch.
From what I observed of Rhea's playing, I was really surprised because I was under the assumption she was a better player than what I witnessed.
Geno had talked about all this pool time and dedication, etc., etc., etc. and I've seen people that played only six months who could play above her level.
Total lack of PSR and mechanics.
Not knocking...just commenting on what I observed.

Man Rhea has gained some weight. Settle down and quit punching balls. Your whole body is moving on some of your shots.
Oh..................if you can't run a rack to the 7 to win then stop pattern racking.
I was shocked too..I had never seen her play, but I knew she was in love with the game, and the lifestyle..If that was an example of her play, after living and breathing pool, for the last few years, she needs to face reality..She will never make even 'C' player level.
PS..That is a low 'C' player spotting her the 7..If he were mid-'C', he would have taken it off in a few hours!..Give it up Rhea. Sorry, but pool is NOT your game! :sorry:

I agree about your "pool sense" comment. There was no semblance of that in any area of her game. I also was surprised how weak a break she had. She needs to forget about pool as a occupation.
I can't believe that I'm going to do this but........in her defense this is the absolute worst I've ever seen her play. I've watched a few streams with her on them and it's almost like she has totally changed her whole game. Her stroke is different and she is trying to move at a quicker pace. I also believe some of her bridging techniques have changed as well.
I openly admit my pool game is light years below what it used to be in 2014 when I was at my prime. But you have to remember I was playing every single day from September 2013 until November 2014, and after that I slowed down got a full time job and started playing once per week for league, with no practice days, and very little opportunity to gamble. I now gamble for fun. I know I will never ever be as good as I was when I was on the road playing unless I go back to playing daily again from sun up to sun down.
Paul is nowhere near a low c player. I agree he should have took it off earlier in the evening, but don't judge from one streamed match.
Then again he could have been laying down.
Dennis, based on your recent post, where you said Rhea was just "off her normal game"..I will have to call into question your ranking Hopfer as anything above a 'C' player..I watched (bored to death) enough of that match, to see him make enough poor decisions, that no self respecting 'B' player would ever make...Unless, as you hinted, he was "on the lemon"!
PS..No one could ever convince me, that Rhea, at her very best, (her 'prime' as she calls it) could ever have risen above a 'D' level player!..Not trying to be argumentative, but are you aware it takes a certain skill level, to even accurately assess a players capability?

It also takes a certain skill level to comprehend the written word. Show me " my recent post" about her nbeing offf her normal game. Also not trying to argue but you got me confused with someone else in this thread.
By the way, I have lived in St. Louis all of my life and I haven't been allowed to participate in any "D or C" tournaments for several years now. I am considered a low B player here, and Paul is considered an A player here. You cannot judge a persons speed by any single stream regardless of length.
Also, If anyone considers me to be a "D" player anywhere, please let me know where these tournaments are so I can go snap them off!

Sorry sir, you are correct..It was Allen Brown who commented on Rhea's poor play... All I can say, is St. Louis must be in a different pool world, than the one I've occupied for well over 70 yrs..Rhea would be very welcome to play in any 'C' tournament anywhere I've ever been!
PS..Wheres Lou Figueroa ?.. Is he on vacation again?
