can a 3/8 x 8 joint fit a 3/8 x 10 shaft? both are radial pin right? but for shaft like 314 or z2 they only have 3/8 x 10.

3/8-10 & 3/8-8 are different...they are also NOT radial pins. If you need a Pred shaft for a 3/8-8 then you'll need a cuemaker to build one from a partial. The only cuemaker that comes to mind using a 3/8-8 is Wes Hunter I believe. Anyway your best bet is to contact KJ on here. He handles anything you need with a Pred shaft & I'm sure he can fix you up or at least steer you in the right direction. kjcues@hotmail.com

they are not radial pin? then wad is the specification of a radial joint?

> The real-deal Radial is 7.637,not a true 8 TPI. I've never seen that Wes Hunter pin up-close,so I go with it being a 3/8-8 like I've seen posted here before.

I'm not saying the Hunter pin isn't a very similar radiused thread type, because it may be,just that they aren't compatible. Tommy D.

thanks. so if i want a shaft like ob or predator, i muz get the blank and ask a cuemaker to customise it to my joint pin?
