Hey Everyone, I got so excited to find this post on my Facebook.
Jaspers and Caudron to play a 600 point match for 15,000 Euros, What a GREAT event, I wish I could go to Spain to watch in person, I hope it will be LIVE stream!

IT will b a very interesting match I am sure....600 points over how many days???? Another post mentioned 300 points???

The year was 1990/1991 ????...ABEL CAULDRONE had a room in ASTORIA down in the basement that was as hot as it got. CEULEMAN vs SANG LEE.......400 points over 5 days......NO VIDEO !!!!!! PLUS there was a major tournament.....ASHBY and HALLON were there but I think you were someplace else.....AT ANY RATE I was there with a LISCIOTTI for the SAT NITE session which was the fourth. They played till one got 80 and then started again the next day. FIRST 17 innings RC 51-SL 17, and all I remember were the shots RC missed. He should have had the 80 in those 17 innings. AT THE END OF 17 INNINGS WHEN RC WAS AVERAGING 3.000 ABEL SHARKED HIM..........he stopped the match to announce this historic score or something like that......one never quite knew with ABEL.....and it then took RC 29 innings to get the 29 points he needed for 80. SL stormed back but cuold not quite close the gap. FINALLY the tables opened up and LISCIOTTI and I got in a game an then it was back to MASS leaving QUEENS at 0430 hours. I was not there for the final set but I do know RC bested SL that day......400 to what I do not know but recall hearing Sang around 350.....no idea what grand average was.
