I think there is a slight translation issue;
"Initial investigation showed that Rivera exploded the grenade after arguing with his wife over the noise from the billiards hall."
Obviously, the argument was not "about" the noise, but rather it was heard "over" or "above" the noise from witnesses in the billiard hall.

Its one thing to kill yourself for a particular reason, privately; but not committing suicide with other people around. It is sad and all, but those two that were killed could've been the next Efren Reyes or something. To make it even worse, with that soldier's wife and child. Sad... just sad...
