300-600 dollar cue advice

Jupp! Sold my Predator P3 with 12,9mm Revo and ZAN Premium Hybrid Max tip. Bought Mezz MSP2-K with two EX Pro shafts, bad choice. Bought Predator Vantage and 314-3 with ZAN PLUS Medium tips and it was a big upgrade to the EX Pro. The Vantage is superior to EX Pro in every way IMO. Wanted a wrapped and thicker butt and ordered a Viking i liked the look of. Ordered the standard Vikore shaft in 12,75mm with Tiger Everest as standard.
Was totally stunned by the way it played. The balance and hit was just superb! Never played the Mezz anymore!
Ordered the InViktus and Siege shaft in 12,75mm and with Tiger Sniper tips right away. The Vantage is a good match with the Viking butt, but prefer the Vikore with Tiger Sniper tip.
Really looking forward getting my Siege and InViktus.
For me the Viking is superior to Mezz in pure playability.
Vantage vs 314-3. What are your impressions? How is the deflection? Pros and Cons of Vantage?

My regular player is a Pechauer PO2-M; from his Pro series (signed) but from the bottom - list price is $390; I got lucky bought it used and cheap so added a Pro+ LD shaft for an additional $280 - it's a nice hitting rig.

The main difference IMO are that the Vantage doesn't change and play 90% the same what ever stroke you are giving it. 314-3 got just a little less deflection at soft hits but feels less stabil/solid at any other hits than the Vantage.
How much did that beauty run ya

Definitely not something you would hear often.
With out doubt good build quality on Mezz's.
I've just learned that pool equipment are far more than Mezz only.
Just doesn't work for me. There is nothing about the hit and touch i like with Mezz.
For me the butts are to thin, back balanced and with to much vibrations that i don't like...
But nice to look at.
I'm sure Mezz works great for several people.

I'm in the market for a new cue, around 300 to 600 dollar budget. So far I've narrowed it down to Pechauer and Joss, but am open to other possibilities. If you play with or have experience with either of those brands what are some positives or negatives you feel about them? Thanks in advance for any help. -Beto-
Li'l Chris did a review on J. Flowers cues. They come with a carbon fiber shaft and run around $300.00 on Amazon. They are a Chinese production cue I believe. I have heard good things about them.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm going to have to try the vantage shaft, sounds interesting.

When comes to Mezz butts.
I had a Mezz cue and it was fine no vibration but it was a sneaky so different build, there was nothing bad or good about it, just another cue.
I have shot with a half a dozen of Mezz cues and have never said - "ohh what a great hitting cue".
Those cues were fine like many others, well all except one.

I know the vibration you are talking about, and I find it distracting, I guess I don't like feedback.
I don't think Mezz had the most vibration out of all the cues I have tried, I think that record would go to Ariel Carmeli cue, at first it was like wow and after that ehh.
