Sounds good to me. A friend and his wife did just that and both are playing much better since.:)
 
Definitely do it.

There is no greater feeling than strolling out of bed in your pi's and hitting some balls.
 
I'm married and I have a pool table in my living room. My wife doesn't play pool either. She's just supportive of me and my interests. We also have a bar in the dining room. So, in reality, 1/2 of the downstairs is my Man Cave. You just gotta marry the right woman! The pool table converts into a dining room table if needed. She also bought me the table....
 
Heck I set one up one time in a guys kitchen. As we were setting up the frame I pointed out a tough shot for one reason or another and I kid you not, without missing a beat the guy grabbed a stick, opened the refrigerator door, moved the milk, made a few practice strokes and said it was good. He was dedicated and happy with the set up. Who was I to argue?
 
Having a table at home is the best decision I made, relating to pool.

You wanna hit balls for an hour? Takes an hour.

Best drinks and tunes too...plus, there is usually only one a-hole in the joint.
 
Thanks everyone for the comments. I just got done putting some living room furniture on Craigslist to make room for a table.
