I really enjoyed Carlos Biado vs. Shane Van Boeing. It was a 10 ball match I think from this past year.

via POV pool channel on youtube. He plays Alex Pagulayan also which has some great outs in it, but the battle with Shane is superb.

Pro Snooker blog asked this question on twitter:

if you could show a ‘non-snooker fan’ one frame of snooker, in order to sell the sport to them, which would it be?

Some that were suggested:

Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Mick Price, frame 14, 1997 World Championship

Steve Davis vs Dennis Taylor, final frame, 1985 World Championship

Alex Higgins, 1982 World Championship

Color of Money. Efren vs Earl. To think that Earl on day 2 plays better than any human has EVER played rotation pool and still loses is pure Hollywood type drama.

U.S. Open where Corey shuts out Mika 11-0. The only shutout ever in U.S. Open Finals history. Excellent pool by one of my all-time favorite players (Corey, of course).

Too lazy to find the link.

I have been looking for that for years and was convinced it was protected/unavailable. You must stop the laziness!

One of my recent faves is a 1p match between Amar kang and manny chau.

Another good one is amar vs efren from hardtimes, 1b. Efren does not get lucky and amar is one smooth mofo.

I had no idea that this was uploaded on youtube. I have been searching for it since like forever, but no luck.

Sure you can't find that link?

Let me just say to you and Black-Balled......I watched the whole match a couple of years ago....remember very vividly how Mika was slumped in his chair towards the end with that "WTF just happened?" look on his face.

It may not be available now. I haven't looked for it lately but if you guys have, then it has probably been taken down, or blocked. I am not very computer saavy...so if y'all didn't find it, I doubt I could either.

2004 World Pool Championship Final Alex Pagulayan vs. Pei-Wei Chang.
Video is very high quality and one of the greatest comebacks ever!
I've watched it at least 20 times.

I agree, it was a great match. Just finished watching it about 10 minutes ago.

My favorite match was the finals in the World 9ball Championships
between Darryl Peach vs Roberto (superman)Gomez. It was just really intense,
cause neither of them was even close to being the favorite but now under
the gun for all the marbles. Love this match!!

I watched that 04 pags/ Chang match last night, with a few naps in the middle.
It was really good, Alex is a badass mofo.
The one I watched was 1:24 and it didn't show Chang building his lead.thanks for the alert.
