366 on video by JS

If any guy gets mosconi's record cracked in our lifetime it'll be john. It's clear the guy just loves to play. And I love to watch the dvds, sign me up for both. I'll second what sausage said, make sure there's a backup. Though as good as john is, if you lost video of a 300 run, he could probably produce another in 3 more days :O

Unreal. With all that can go wrong during a straight pool run, 366 is just incredible. I'm glad these numbers are being put up by a truly nice guy.

That's it? 366? Tell John to get back at it! ;)

(and please apologize to him again for me going on and on and on in Vegas to him that night about his latest DVD [so embarrassing I couldn't stop repeating myself]) :o

BTW Marop - did you get the damn doc yet?? Or too busy taping and watching?

Marop, what table do you have at your house? A brunswick with 6" pockets or something? That is disgusting. I'm going to stop reading this thread and go play pool. Maybe I'll come back when I can post that I ran something higher than any of John's runs.

How long did the 366 take?

366 is a magic number not only for "leap years" but also 36.6 is a normal temperature of a human in Celcius ;)

Great... no, GREAT shooting John! Can't wait to watch your 294 and 366 now on DVD! I hope you don't forget to give us tips and hints during your reviews :)

that averages out to 3.33 balls per minute or a ball every 18 seconds.

And assuming that he racked the balls 26 times and he took 45 seconds to rack and shoot (conservative estimate), he spent 20 minutes of that run racking while making 4.06 balls per minute, or a ball every 15 seconds.

He racked 26 times during that run! Put me down for a DVD!

Ditto what everyone else said. Now I will humbly go back to trying to break my high run of 27:angry::cool:

Remember.........

Tom:
John is one of a very small hand full of Pros that are the Best 14.1 players of this Era but remember: that is his Profession.
Now ask yourself: What is your profession? Can other people do your job as good as you? Probably not.
Now do you feel better? The answer has to be: Yes. Always think that way. I do. Lets keep playing for the Love of the Sport.

PS: John will go down in History as one of the Best players in the History of the Sport. A true Mickey Mantle of Billiards.
Lets watch his videos and be amazed.

Major credit to John for tasty string of high runs, but to be honest I'm not surprised about the 366 run because John is undoubtedly a top quality straight pool shooter and I feel that it's simply a matter of time before he either wins the world title and/or surpasses Willie Mosconi's 526, (Which will be even more credit to john since it will be on a 9ft'er and Willie's was on an 8ft'er).

Marop, major credit and rep to you for having John over there and giving him chance to put some top deck runs on video

Be sure to put my name down for a copy of each of the DVD's when they are available to buy

Very well done John, hats off to you as always :)

Willie
