i have one of the Blud CNC machines for sale right now.it will taper and inlay.i will sell the machine with the spindle that came with it(inlay only) for $5500 or i will sell it with the 50k NSK spindle for perfect inlays or tapering, motor and controller for $8500.the NSK stuff has only been used a few times and the same goes for the machine.the entire carriage moves instead of the spindle so you need a long space for it,almost 6 feet but it is narrow and i have a table to go with it and a computer.i realize this all may be out of your price range, but it is a good deal.if you buy with the NSK setup you are basically getting a $3000 spindle setup for free,b/c i think Blud charges $8500 for these machines with the stock spindle.
the NSK stuff is model number E-2500 and E-3000.the run out is guaranteed to under 1 micron which is far more accurate than most of the spindles out there.i have 1/4" and 1/8" NSK collets.
It is a Model 3925 with a 5c collect 4th axis. I changed the X and Y lead screws with Kerk lead screws ( still have the ball screws they had to much backlash). It was a very early machine but it works well after the change to Kerk lead screws. Not sure how much I would sell it for. I will have a better idea in a few months when I get ready to start the new one.
