Anyone know if this is available in any box stores, hep , anywhere besides online?

I have never been able to find in on the shelf anywhere. This is where I buy it. https://www.rshughes.com/p/3M-Scotc...t-Yellow-Liquid-1-Gal-Can-20274/021200_20274/

Parabond m250 is what Diamond uses and is much more affordable. I used it on a 9' Diamond last week and it worked the same as the 3m fastbond. If you do switch I strongly recommend removing ALL other adhesives before using EITHER product. If there is spray adhesive or another brand, the new application seems to not play well with the others, aka the curing time gets weird. Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks for info. I will try to find both locally. From a small town and probably will have trouble finding both. Gonna give it a shot though. ☺

Why would you try to find specialized stuff like this locally? It won’t exist. Just buy it from the industrial supply warehouses and be done with it.

You’ll spend more time and agravation searching for it locally than the shipping cost if you buy it online.

To each his own:)

3M Neoprene Contact Adhesive 10 is the absolute best for gluing on cushion rubbers. Ernesto will not use anything else. The one problem with it which is why Diamond may not use it, is because it is so absolutely permanent that unless you are very careful, you may have a hard time getting the cushions off in the future without taking off some of the wood with it. However, if you want a permanent job that you'll never have to worry about the cushions loosening on you - even if you have people sitting on the rails, it is the best choice. Yes, it is hard to find and it is expensive.

Pretty sure Diamond Billiards, being that they produce the most in demand pool table on the PLANET, knows what they are doing. They do not use that for their cushions. As I mentioned, I used it to do a glue down job and it worked very well. Real King Cobra uses the 3m Fastbond N-10 and so do I, but, I happened to be out and picked some of their Parabond m-250 from the factory for a CLOTH job and it worked great. I can only assume it would work great on the cushions as well. As long as the outcome is the same I dont really care who uses what. I know what works :)

P.s. ALL adhesives will take off wood if you are not careful and patient. I use a very sharp 5in1 scraper on the subrail as I am taking the old cushions off, If you just peel them off you are most likely going to cause damage to the subrail and gonna have to do more work. Mostly a common sense type of situation and NOT which product you are using!

Considering Ernesto has likely replaced more cushion rubbers on more quality commercial poolroom pool tables like Diamond's and Gold Crown's than any living human, I'll take his advice over Diamond's.

The fact that NO ONE even mentioned using the n-10 for cushions remains to be the part you missed. In other words what you are saying actually has nothing to do with the OP's original question. You do what ever you think is best or rather do what you are told!

I assumed the OP requested that product for installing cushion rubbers - what else would they be using it for in relation to pool tables? You are the one who tried to steer to him to another product for installing cushion rubbers. I was just re-confirming to the OP that the 3M 10 is indeed the product he should use for cushion rubbers. as it apparently had been recommended to him previously by someone else as well.

My first assumption was that he was using it for installing the cloth. It is also used for installing cushions. He never mentioned what he was using it for. He could possibly be using it for both.

Hmmmm, something is wrong here. You don't know that it is used to install the cloth? Go brown nose Ernesto some more. MIC DROP! done here :)

So then why don't you install K66 cushions on your Gold Crowns next time instead of the correct K55 profile cushions....then you'd be just like Ernesto. And for the record, I've been using FB 10 longer than any pool table mechainc in this country, since Sept 1984!

And for the record, the stretch index, glue down system of installing bed cloths originated with me as well, going back to June 1986....anyone else in this country doing it, is because of me in one way or another!

REAL TALK!!! From the Cobra himself!!!! I am not even sure if this guy ChrisinNC even works on pool tables at all, but, he was trying to be helpful I suppose.

No, I don't work on pool tables, but I've owned and operated a poolroom for 22 years, so I know a thing or two. We also work on and move tables locally, and I've had the same mechanic / installer for 20 years, whom I've helped when he needs it.
