Hello folks, I have a real nice Original by Palmer for sale.

The cue is in great condition and according to Chris the Palmer Collector the cues color scheme is uncommon.

The cue was purchased in Tacoma, Washington in 1975, I am selling it for the original owner.

The price is $360.00 firm shipping included, trades may be considered.

The cue is also currently listed on eBay, however, if I receive a bid before anyone replies the ebay action will be allowed to continue and this cue will not be for sale here any longer.

Thanks for your interest in advance, and have a great day!!!

No longer for sale on AZ

Cue is no longer for sale on Az, I have received bids on eBay!!!!!!

That is wrong

This forum is a place to sell. You sold it. Cancel your Ebay auction. It is allowed or don't. Good chance you will have little luck here from now on with your methods. You could have posted cue on ebay with a link. The cue is nothing special. 1st catalog made by Gus it is not.
Sorry but I am sure alot o f us feel like this!

Nick thanks for your input, and I will consider what you have said in the future.

However, I clearly stated in my original post what my intentions were.

Anyone can still place a bid on this cue, the bid placed on the auction was placed before I had any action here.

Anyway, like you said this cue is nothing special!!

Have a nice day

cue for sale

he said 360 firm,another guy says i'll take it,and the current bid is 355,minus fee's ,whaaaat?jmo

You got a reply to buy it in less than an hour of posting it on here. If you wanted to sell it on here, you should have posted it before putting it on ebay or just made the post about the stick being on ebay if anyone was interested.

What would you have done if the poster on here said he would take it and before you could take it off ebay, someone bid on it? Would you have honored the poster on here or the ebay bidder?

The current bid is me... I'm still bidding $360 for it!

If you're the bidder on ebay, then the auction should be removed and the stick sold to you as he said he would do.

Jeff, read my original post, it is very clear. I said that if the cue received any bids before I received a reply here the auction would stand.

That is pretty clear, I am a honest guy, check the post date / time against the 1st bid date and time.

The Bid was placed first, and the original bidder was not the individual poster from this forum.

You or anyone else can check the bid time and the post time.

The auction will stand and the interested individual on AZ agrees with this.

Have a great day

I won't outbid you Hunter, I believe you should have it. For anyone else reading this, MANWON is a straight forward person, and this one error in judgement (I agree he should have simply put a link to his ebay auction on this forum) is not an indication of any lack of ethics on MANWON (Craig)'s
part.

Hey Gang,

Thanks for your support! I do understand where Manwon is coming from. I think he's an honest person and had no bad intentions with this deal. He absolutely spelled it out and I was beat by seven minutes by the Ebay bidder.

I fumbled around for a few minutes trying to check the Ebay auction (where there weren't any bidders at the time), checking my Paypal account for funds, writing the offer on the thread, PMing Manwon, and by the time I followed up with an Ebay message to Manwon, I clicked back in and realized I had been beat to the punch by an Ebay bidder... Manwon PMed me and told me what had happened. I thought he was trying to do what was right by defending the guy that bid, so I bid over the top of him so Manwon could choose to end the auction to sell to the highest bidder, if he was so inclined. He chose not to go that route, which is his perogative. I was just trying to live up to my offer of bidding what he had initially asked for (my proxy bid is $360).

Please don't hold back on your bids, as I will not win the auction. There is no sense in losing the cue, and I will not bid again on principle...

Best of luck with the auction, Craig!

Regards,

Steve
