I thought I would post a few more pics of the progress as this one moves along. Leaning towards smooth black leather (real old school) or possibly wht/green speck linen OR wht/ blue speck? What do you guys think?

+1 for lack leather. But if you did white with green spec you could name it " the cue of many colors" and contact Dolly Parton..;)

Another check for blk leather......I know I just loved the look of that damn blue veneer...lol

As much as I prefer linen, I will have to say go with the black leather. Very nice cue so far.

I am a linen wrap guy or more specifically, I am a Cortland Linen wrap guy.
Cortland #9 (white w/ green speck) would be a poor fit with this color scheme .
Leather wrap is the only way to go and I'm suggesting black Kangaroo leather.

Yup, the linen would clash.

I dare say that if Cortland were put on the cue I might have a hard time with that, maybe have a little stroke. There isn't enough of it left for cues like this.

But, I guess people can do what they want. Champagne and paper cups? OK.......:D (Teasing of course, I mean no insult to the cue or maker, I dig his work)

This cue does scream 60's 70's. Those loud veneers make me think of shag carpeting, lava lamps, and velvet Elvis paintings. The darn thing is nearly psychedelic.

Since it seems leather is such a heavy favorite I'll be more specific. A smooth finish black leather would be my preference. Not textured.
