I have a unique Tapershapper for sale with many extras. cutting bits, extra belts and guide pins, drill chuck, center pins, dial indicators x2, and 3 routers. stock ryobi, quiet router setup, bosch 1hp router multi speeds and more. I will post pics next day or two. Asking $2500 and will split shipping cost.

When I got my CueMonster CNC years ago I thought it would replace my Taper/Shaper machine.
No Way!
The Unique Taper/Shaper machine is the heart of my cue shop and will be here as long as I make cues ... it is really that good!

Put a 6 tooth cutter on it and slow the router down a bit ... quiet and fast.

I would not be without the Taper Shaper now. It is the quiet workhorse that keeps churning out useful passes on shafts without me having to worry about it damaging anything if I happen to forget to shut it off, or check on it. And I do not go deaf when I work on some task on my CNC, which is in its own cabinet, along side the TS. Both machines are equipped with quiet routers. I just made my own adjustable taper bar so I can use my taper rather than Uniques for my shafts.
I am making a table saw shaft machine. Will that replace my TS? Never! I plan to use that saw machine only for rough cuts. And Leave the saw in my unheated garage so that the mega dust and noise from initial passes stays outside. The TS will stay in its enclosure, in my basement work shop, quietly churning out tapers with no dust escaping to mess up my home. I can even make phone calls in my basement shop without any trouble from the noise. Life is good with these well thought out machines.
