This past year was the first time I went to the expo in a long time. I remember they used to do a smaller secondary show in August but don't see anything on the site about it. They don't run the second one anymore?

I can't say I ever remember a " second Expo ". Are you possibly thinking of something else like maybe the " DCC- Tunica maybe?
No. Even if it was only for a couple years maybe, they used to put on a second, smaller "expo" in August. Maybe it wasn't that big of a success that they stopped. I'm not sure.

A few years back maybe? I believe it was in the same location. I promise I'm not crazy here lol. Maybe it was only one year they did it I don't know. I'm calling tomorrow even if it is just to find out that they did it in the past. Now it's like I have to prove to myself I'm not imagining this out of nowhere lol.

Allen Hopkins used to run a second event at what is now the Valley Forge Casino. Sometimes eight ball. Sometimes ten ball. The last event a couple of years ago was nine ball. It was held in conjunction with the regional APA instead of TAP. A few venders in attendence. Basement of the hotel.

So it would have been at least five years ago, I think, since the last five Expos have been (IIRC) Oaks(2012, 1st time there?), Edison, Edison, Oaks, Oaks (2016).Allen Hopkins used to run a second event at what is now the Valley Forge Casino. ...
I think that it did in fact happen but it had far fewer players than hoped for.I think his "million dollar 9 ball" event never happened though.??

Correct. The "Million Dollar Shootout" was played in 2008 with 12 players and a prize pot of $60,000 rather than a million dollars. Corey Deuel's first-place prize was $20,000.
