I was speaking with an older gentleman who sold to the shoe industry years ago. We were talking about the quality of leather, past and present. He commented that the U.S. had regulated the Leather Industry to a point where you had to import really good leather. Just about all the Leather here is Vegetable tanned, not like the old stuff that was Chrome Tanned. I imagine one of the reasons George Balabushka's Leather wraps have stood the test of time is the fact that they were Chrome Tanned here in the good 'ole US of A.

You can tell from the photos that both wraps are the same great looking Leather.

Thanks for that information. They certainly dont look like they are that old. Yhose leather wraps have held up incredibly well..

The last Bushka I had looked a lot like the bottom cue. But the diamonds & dots in the points were in a straight line.

I heard Lucky in Japan ended up with it.

I don't know which one I'd rather have, the leather wrapped titlist on the right or that 66 Chevelle you own. The Bushka would be much easier to store though. :grin-square::grin-square::grin-square:
