5 Veneer Build for Gascoigne

Wow the cue is just heating up! The flame looks like it's really burning after the undercoat...I'm so loving the curly maple!

wow the cue looks immaculate and flawless! Great job by Paul Sumrall from S&S cues!

I highly recommend you guys to order a full splice from him, he's not a great cuemaker, he's a hell of a guy.
 
You've got yourself a beautiful cue there, gascoigne. And a great player as well, no doubt. When I grow up, I want a full-splice like that, but until then I'll just have to be satisfied with my short-splice four-point five-veneer wrapless Sumrall.

Beautiful cue. The flames really jump out! Like the ringwork too. Looks like it's going to a good home. Congrats!
 
I haven't received it yet...send a week ago, estimated delivery is 7-10 days....so should be coming anytime soon
 
Cue has finally arrived!

I must say the veneers really are HOT! I played a few sets of 9 ball (race to 9) and I must say I broke and run out more than I ever did in my life! The cue is firm hitting and moves the ball with ease (very low deflection for shaft).

Will do a more detailed write-up with pictures when I get them.

P.S - love the touch by lasering ur logo on the butt plate, it looks super cool!

a very short couple months later, and Paul has my first cue nearing completion.
