Christmas coming early.

Maybe early next week.

Second shaft still on the lathe.

Cocobolo with sindora burl handle. Cored with purple heart. Matching extension.

Another masterpiece from John Chaplin (JC).

I've not heard of sindora burl but it's a show stopper. The cocobolo is just saturated in color. Great looking cue!

A few more. The photos on the blue towel were taken a few weeks ago, before it was fully finished and polished.

JC makes quality cues, the one i have is my "go to" cue on the rare occasions i play

He under promises and over delivers

Absolutely beautiful!

I don’t buy many cues, and I’ve had the same player for 35 years. But I may just have to do this!

I’m really interested to hear how it plays for you. Did you get a standard or low deflection shaft?

I got two standard shafts.

I have lots of cues, some with LD and some without.

With this one, I wanted the feel of solid maple.

Congrats ....
That looks like a very well-made cue....
I really like the grain in the shaft wood-
also I like how the ferrule and shaft look SEAMLESS-
Nice , clean installation by the cue maker ;)
ENJOY

If you can believe it, it looks better in hand than it does in pictures.

I just got it about 30 minutes ago and it looks and feels perfect.

I wish we weren't on lock down because I'd love to try it out.

Once again, thank you JC. :)

You're very welcome Mr. Eye.

Let me know how it hits if a pool room ever opens.

Congrats on the beautiful score.

Here is one John built me. Ebony & Pernambuco. Pleasure to work with, and top quality too.
