David Brainard of cuesdirectly.com specializes in them. I've never owned one or even seen one in person for that matter but I've seen a lot of owners of his cues give reviews and they report nothing but praise in every way. He is also one of if not the most affordable so that might be a plus if budget and value are part of the consideration. Do a search on here for reviews. He just took down his old website and the new one is garbage without much on there yet so be forewarned to not expect much from his current website at the moment.

Ned Morris. You can contact him on Facebook. I've had 2 conversions and they are fantastic.

Great guy-I’ve bought two cues from him. Very very good pricing, top notch communication and fantastic products.

Haven’t heard of him but will look into it. Thanks for the tip!
No prob. He also has a facebook which I linked for you as well as a youtube video showing some of his equipment and that may also help to give some feel for what type of cue making philosophy he has.

I have never heard of him either but it was good texting with you last night.

I want the two on the left for myself, sell them to me and we're all good.

Thanks to all who posted on here, what a great morning on this fine Friday.

I love it and you're correct about the website. Soon I will make it even worse than it is now, I plan to eliminate next year, I simply do not need it.

I had wix for 8 years, they tripled my price so I got a new one.

Year after year goes by and every single day I have people on a waiting list, my priority will always be my customers and not my website, that is what puts a smile on my face.

On my website at this time people cannot purchase a thing, I have not updated pics since March 8th or so, Pool players are smart people, they get in touch with me and that allows me to build cues 8 days per week.

Now that the weather is warming up, I will take a day off per week for my 15 mile hikes in the mountains, rock on.

Thanks again to Poolplaya9 for speaking the truth, I do appreciate it.

Here is an example of Dave Brainard's work - one was done for me- he did another for my son. We are very pleased with the work and the
price!!

I am not knocking any of those "famous" cue makers that some other folks listed here - they all do great work-but you may end up paying several times Dave's price for essentially the same cue- the titilist cue is already built, in essence, you are just asking someone to tailor it to your liking with a new shaft.

Please don't let anyone put a buzz ring in them. Or any fancy ring at what would be the normal handle position. Like them kids putting a spoiler on a four door Camry.

Tasc, White, Diviney, John Bender.. there are some very good traditional guys doing that kind of work. Flat faced, Capone, and a number of other guys. Sorry if I missed anyone, it's not intentional. :)

Bottom line is many great people to do a conversion. Some are big name, long bait, pricy because if supply n demand.

Other work as good, but because they are not well known, or regional are just as good.

Rarest Chin was know here as Titlist Sucker. His web site show cases his collection. Sadly young guy from Singapore was taken after battle with Cancer.

He was Titlist guru.👍😇

What's a buzz ring?

How would you put a ring at the A joint? Unless you plan on cutting the cue in half
